DESKTOP 447 - LAVENDER

This is Italian Lavender (Lavandula stoechas, or "Princess" Lavender).

  3. I'd love to see an overal shot of your garden sometime.
    Are these very different from what I know as French lavender?

    1. This is Lavandula stoechas, GF, and French lavender is Lavandula pedunculata. French lavender has quite a pungent (and for me rather unpleasant smell).
      English lavender is the best-smelling one of all three, but these Italian lavenders are very attractive plants.
      I've done a few posts on our garden, but some time ago. I'll do a post soon with some of the Spring flowers out. :-)
